Mama Time at Scribe Winery in Sonoma
Every mama needs some girl time now and then. A little time to unwind and not put someone else's needs ahead of her own. A little time to dress up and not have yogurt on her pants.
Thanks to my good friend Danielle, I recently got the opportunity to have some mama time and enjoy the company of great friends in a beautiful and relaxing setting.
Todas las mamas necesitamos tiempo de mujeres solamente de ves en cuando, un poco de tiempo para relajarse sin poner las necesidades de alguien mas primero que las nuestras. Un poco de tiempo para vestirnos bien sin yogurt en los pantalones.
Gracias a mi buena amiga Danielle, recientemente tuve la oportunidad de disfrutar de un poco de tiempo para mi y disfrutar de la compania de unos amigos geniales en un lugar relajarte y maravilloso.
I had heard a lot about Scribe Winery in Sonoma but had never been there. I had been told by various people that Sonoma was more rustic than Napa and now I see why.
The winery felt homey and farm like. The main tasting room was under umbrellas on the patio of a hacienda. Then up on the hill, there were picnic tables under trees and Mexican blankets laid out for picnics.
We grabbed our Mexican blanket and found a shady spot overlooking the vineyards. Here we enjoyed the various wines and a delicious picnic basket filled with local goodies.
Había escuchado mucho sobre la ( Scribe Winery ) Vineria Scribe, pero nunca había estado allí. Algunas personas me habían dicho que Sonoma era mas rústico que Napa y ahora veo por que.
En la bodega se siente un ambiente como de granja y muy acogedor. El sitio principal para la degustación se encuentra bajo unos parasoles en el patio de la hacienda, luego, bajo los arboles en la colina habían unas mesas para picnic y mantas Mexicanas extendidas para picnics. ( Comida al aire libre ).
Cogimos nuestra manta mexicana y encontramos un lugar con sombra con vista a los vinedos. Aquí disfrutamos de los diferentes vinos y una deliciosa cesta llena de golosinas locales.
There were no speeches about the wine, no fancy pairings or presentations, no stuffiness. The whole vibe was casual and friendly.
The people on the blanket near us had their dog with them and another couple had their toddler. It felt like we were all friends at the same picnic. The dog came over to say hi and even took the Brie cheese from our picnic basket.
Time flew by as we finished our bottles of wine and nobody wanted to leave. We said our goodbyes but I'm positive we will be coming back!

No hubo presentaciones del vino ni apareamientos de vino con el bocadillo o queso adecuado, no hubo ninguna clase de congestion, todo el ambiente era casual y amable.
Las personas en la manta cercana a nosotros tenia su perro y otros tenían así niño pequeño, se sentía como si todos fuéramos amigos en el mismo picnic, incluso el perro vino a saludarnos y a llevarse un queso de la cesta.
El tiempo paso rapidamente mientras que nosotros terminábamos nuestras botellas de vino, nadie quería irse, nos despedimos pero estoy segura de que volveremos.
Les recomiendo encarecidamente ir a este sitio y por favor no olviden llamar con antelación para hacer la reservación.
