Five Kid-friendly Cafes in San Francisco
We go to a lot of coffee shops in this city and some are more kid friendly than others. I figured it would be useful to share the list of those we think are easier to visit with kids. Below are my current top five kid-friendly cafes in SF, as well as a short description of why they made the list.
1. Cafe Reveille in Mission Bay
This cafe is located in Mission Bay and serves delicious coffee, matcha lattes, quick bites and brunch. Parking is easy in the area and the cafe is easy to get into with a stroller. They have indoor and outdoor seating and are half a block from Mission Bay Kids Park which has an amazing playground.
2. Lady Falcon Coffee Truck
It doesn’t get more kid friendly than a coffee truck in the middle of the park! The vintage coffee truck visits several locations around the city but the most kid friendly so far is the Alamo Square location. The truck is at Alamo Square Friday-Sunday 10:00 am – 3:00 pm. They park right in the middle of the park and there is playground 20 feet away. You also get the best view of the painted ladies here.
3. Blue Bottle Coffee on Fillmore
This is the most kid friendly Blue Bottle in San Francisco. The have high chairs, there’s a changing table in the bathroom and it’s easy to get in with a stroller. Also, they have some toast options on the menu that are always a hit with my little one.
4. As Quoted
As Quoted takes it to the next level by providing a kid’s play corner complete with play kitchen! They also have high chairs and a changing table in the bathroom. I love that their whole menu is gluten free. Atlas loves the gluten free banana muffin here.
5. Tartine Manufactory
This delicious place serves breakfast and also has a coffee section. Parking is pretty easy in the area. They have a stroller accessible entrance in the back as well as a bathroom. They also have high chairs and the staff are very accommodating.
