Salsalito Taco Shop

Salsalito Taco Shop

Neighborhood: Sausalito, CA
Parking: Street
Kid friendly: Yes

We did a spontaneous little drive over the Golden Gate Bridge to beautiful Sausalito. It’s a great little getaway from the city and there are cute shops, restaurants and amazing views of SF. It was raining so we didn’t do a lot of walking in the shopping area but we decided to grab some lunch. As we were searching for a lunch spot we stumbled upon Salsalito Tacos.

Atlas loves rice and beans so Mexican food is always a safe bet. I loved the look of this place because it had a fun, laid back beach vibe. Everything was colorful so it was bright and cheery on that rainy day. Also, they weren't super crowded and they had a ramp so I could get the stroller inside.

We ate a variety of tacos but if you aren’t into that they actually have a huge menu with a variety of Baja-style Mexican dishes. They do have a kids menu but I ordered Atlas a kid size order of rice and beans and he ate some of my taco meat. He was totally happy with that.

Another bonus to this little place was the fast service! We were in and out before Atlas had a chance to freak out.

It was a win for everyone. Good tacos, cute environment, kid friendly and fast.

If you are traveling with kiddos to Sausalito, keep this place in mind. Note – they are closed on Tuesdays.

Enjoy!
